Community update: Week 1

And we are back, this christmas and new year were really good for our team, everyone got a nice and deserved rest and they are back in the office ready to do their magic!

And this is how we are starting our new year,

The browser version is being updated to version 2.77,

On this version we were really focused on what our player have asked. Our implementations for this cycle is all about what you have asked!

The app is also now available in 2.77,

The team came back form the holidays with one clear resolution for this year get ride of the annoying bugs, the work they did is a good pace for this upcoming year. And we shouldn’t forget our talented artist that gave their contribute for this shining new new on some screens!

    Any plans to add Farm-All button? That’s been an idea for as long as I can remember and has received support from so many in the community.

    I seem to recall devs/mods speaking positively about it at some point. This feature would reduce a lot of the redundant clicks on Grepolis and make more people enjoy the game immensely.

      And to solve the same-city-island problem you could just have it default to the highest points – or give us options to default per island. Or put a setting in options to default to lowest resource city. I mean is a lot of ways to solve that issue.

    The dev-team should focus *entirely* on time-saving functions instead of adding mumbojumbo that nobody has asked for.
    Grepolis, as it currently stands, is just one big cluster-f*ck of redundant clicking and grinding.

    Solve this, and I might return as a paying customer.
    “Farm all”, could for example, be a premium function.

      Hi,
      we are currently reworking the farming village feature for new worlds. In the new farming village window, you will have a button to cycle through all farming villages of one island. That will reduce the amount of clicks you need to do in order to demand resources. This will be a non-premium feature.
      In general I like the “Farm all” function. The reason why we didn’t implement it by now is, that we would have to rework the whole overview than. For example you have two towns on the same island with farming villages, which town will get the resources if you click “Farm all”? What if you want to demand for 8 hours, but some farms don’t have the technology for the additional demand options? That’s something the player needs to be able to define first.
      Anyway we are taking care of your feedback. Providing a better farming overview is definitely on my todo list. But I can’t do promises right now, when this will be implemented.
