Community Update: Week 27

This is what happened since the last community update:

Beta Update 2.42

The development of the new Grepolis Update 2.42 has been finished on Friday. The latest changes have already been deployed on our beta environment (http://beta.grepolis.com). This version mainly contains bugfixes.

The current update schedule is the following:

• July, 4^th: first French and German worlds;
• July, 9^th: EN market;
• July, 10^th: FR and DE markets;
• July, 11^th: international roll-out.

Rise of Heroes

The Heroes are finally out for beta testing! Due to this, we took the opportunity to open a new testing world where all players can start the game with 5 towns to speed up the early game. If you want to take part in the Beta World, please go to: Grepolis Beta and register your personal beta account. A first survey will be sent out to the beta testers tomorrow.

Monthly Feature Voting

On that topic we unfortunately have some sad news. The feature voted for 2.42 (Recall troops from town info window) won’t make it for that version. The concept was more complex than we thought and it took us more time than we expected to finalize the details. Therefore the feature is postponed. We apologize for the delay in delivering the first feature of our monthly voting.

Current Progress

On Monday, our team has started working on the development of version 2.43. With this version, we would like to take the time to make some technical improvements as well as some preparation work for the mobile app release.
