One more week as passed, and this week was been filled with many exciting things, such as a new app version, new visual, new characters and heroes… as well, many communities are celebrating their birthdays!
So lets check out the highlights…
Valentines day
This past Saturday, to celebrate valentines day, we introduced – Thessalonike, the mermaid.
Overall the feedback we received was very positive, but also some complains that the prizes were not so appealing to the larger players. Some for the next events we will be more aware to this matter and some other issues reported by the communities.
The great battle of Troy…
Finally! It has arrived! For the last weeks I have been speaking about the great battle of Troy, and now it has finally arrived. So what are your impressions of it? we would, really, love to get your feedback!
The browser version was in the beta community
New faces! The graphics team bring us, in my opinion, an amazing and sutil change in to the game – the redesign of the advisor.
The mobile version
The mobile version just got release as version 2.80, usually people tend to look at the changelog and “determine” how good an update is. This is a perfect example as it can be very wrong. The mobile team, did an incredible job in bug tracking and improving the stability of the app. Many, but really many things got tuned up inside.

More scoops next week!
In regards to “The great battle of Troy” event, there has now been a special event bonus introduced when purchasing gold. In the beginning, I and other members of the Grepo community, saw this as a positive (as such a bonus is customary at one time during a given Grepo event). However, we were met with dismay. Unnanounced to the player base, gold prices have been altered in the favor of Inno. The price for 21500 gold less than 24 hours ago was $79.99. I had expected, with the 10% promotion (event bonus), to therefore receive 23650 gold for that price. Instead, my $79.99 now only rewards me with 22000 gold (this figure takes into account the gold bonus for the event). This represents a mere 2.23% increase. Will prices return to the standard $79.99/21500 gold following the event or has Inno effectively reduced our purchasing power by 6.98% ?
This tactic amounts to a department store sale when prices are hiked just before a big sale just so that the seller can advertize a high percentage discount on merchandice. Is this the new Inno strategy? The priority should be to hold on to the consumer base that Inno has. Increasing the relative price of gold without even so much as a community announcement is quite deceiving and only makes that “gold-purchasing base” reevaluate whether this game is worth playing.
