Easter preparations and concept reviews
Easter is around the corner and we will re-launch our Easter event – Trial of the Slingers. Become a teacher for young slingers and teach them the art of the slingshot to unlock great rewards!
This year, all finished egg collections will reward you with a special bonus effect – Divine Senses. While we know that this is a very powerful item, we are confident that all active players will get their hands on one or more of these and hence we expect the playing field to be even across all players.
Additionally you can work with other players and achieve great community rewards by just being active in the event. The more Honor points you score, the more rewards will be unlocked for everyone!
Moreover our Game Designers are in the process of reviewing all comments in regards to our planned changes to the colony ship research and looking into concerns that have been voiced to potentially improve upon the initial idea. We’ll keep you posted!
Version 2.135
Version 2.135 was released this week. With it came the activation of Artemisia on all game worlds, along with awards for her mythical units. Going forward, we will now be able to include her in upcoming events without breaking the game.
Additionally we fixed an issue that came up after players reported that they were trying to remove all reports of a certain type from their inboxes. After selecting this specific type and deleting all messages, they found that all reports were removed. Given that the expectations for this feature were clearly different than the actual functionality, we reworked it to ensure that only those reports you want to delete are actually removed.
Furthermore we enabled notifications about the start of the era of world wonders to be shown in a more timely manner. Instead of displaying the status after starting a new game session, the popup is now shown immediately to all players that are currently online – or log in at any time afterwards.
Next version preview
We are concluding the work on sprint v2.136 this week.
In this version we continued or work on island quest changes. Quest texts were cut shorter to prepare them for the integration of island quests in the quest log. Additionally we have reacted to feedback about some of the island quest rewards being too strong. As a result, some item effects that could previously be activated at the same time (e.g. old and new bonuses to attack and defense) are now handled differently and can no longer be stacked (similar to having different levels of the same effect).
On top of that we have realized a common community request to display incoming attack and support movements in the city overview dropdown menu. Starting with this version, you can see icons for attacks and support movements next to the island quest indicator and get a better overview as to which city has incoming movements. This change will also apply to the mobile version and is no longer exclusive to players who have the curator activated.
Furthermore we implemented another change to potentially improve the game’s performance. Message and notification deletions are no longer handled separately (one by one) but bundled to ensure that deleting all notifications at the same time doesn’t put as much load on our servers.
The current update schedule for v2.136 is as follows:
Tuesday, April 18th: NL, SE and SK market
Wednesday, April 19th: international roll-out

re. Version 2.136
Community request: Incoming attacks and supports will be displayed in the city drop down.
Unfortunately there would been forgotten to marking Revolts in the affected Cities. As you know, there is no time to react for a Colony Ship, if there is a active red revolt in my city.
What do you recommend to do in revolt worlds, with the most emergency ongoing of an attack in a such a city or can you change the display and add revolts as well?
