Mysterious surprises remain mysterious… for now
We know you are all curious for our upcoming surprises – unfortunately it is not time to unveil what we have planned yet and you will have to wait just a little longer. However, we recommend to keep your eyes focused on all our channels as the reveal keeps drawing closer!
v2.140
On Tuesday and Wednesday this week we updated to v2.140 on all live worlds with the app update to follow as soon as we’re approved for iOS.
This version mainly includes bug fixes and technical changes as some sprint time was dedicated to our little surprise we have planned for this summer.
After fixing a bug related to our rework of the command overview, this rework is now also live for all markets and should help with performance problems during situations of high command volumes.
Next version preview
This week we concluded the sprint work for version 2.141.
This version includes a big early game change: We are moving the colony ship research to Academy level 13. Along with this change, we also gave the settlement screen a nifty upgrade to include a lot more information for new players, displaying all available buildings and respective points in the newly founded city and highlighting all requirements for settlement itself.
Furthermore we implemented three requests that recently reached us from the community:
First of all we changed the behaviour of island quests icon shown in the city list. It will now only be shown while the respective island quest still requires some action to be finished. Any time based quests are excluded as they require no more activity.
Secondly we decided to offer slingers as a reward for island quests. They will become available as a potential reward for “The Desperate Village”.
Last but not least we made city dots on the world map clickable so that you can easily interact with other cities just like on the island map.
The current update schedule for v2.141 is as follows:
Tuesday, June 27th: NL, SE and SK market
Wednesday, June 28th: international roll-out
In order to test all changes regarding early settlements in the game, we will open a new beta world – Sandbox 7 – on June 19th, 2017. Join us for this public test and let us know what you think about these changes either in the comments below or on our forums!

I suggest to change the first island quest which you get as rewards of the Desecrated shrine don’t have any strategical use in the really early game stage since the IQ revamp. There was the Forced loaylty bonus before which was quite useful but at this moment it offers the Improved attack and favor production.
