This is what happened since the last community update:
Fullscreen Town Overview
On Monday, Marcel Zons published an article about the fullscreen town overview, a new feature that the team is currently working on. Introduced last year with the 2013 Roadmap, we never said much about it so far and thought it would good to give you a first look at what we plan to do. Please share with us your thoughts in the comments of this blog article.
Beta Update 2.55
The development of the new Grepolis Update 2.55 has been finished on Friday. The latest changes have already been deployed on our beta environment (http://beta.grepolis.com). This version features some improvements made on the handling of inactive accounts on the game worlds as well as a community feature that you will surely like: players who support another player’s town with troops from multiple own towns will now get only one report in case of an attack on the town (support reports get merged into one).
The current update schedule is the following:
- February, 18th: NL, SE and SK markets;
- February, 19th: international roll-out.
Heroes have been released on the first markets on Tuesday, February 11th in Brazil, Spain and The Netherlands. Players from these countries can now play with the heroes on the new dedicated worlds and provide us some first feedback before international release. Heroes will come to all other markets beginning of March.
For those who already have the heroes enabled on their worlds, the App version of the feature will be available in two weeks.
On Monday our team focused on bug fixes and the development of version 2.56 started on Monday. The main focus of this version is again the full screen town overview as well as some technical tasks which must be done as early as possible.
