Community update: Week 2

Just last week we were updating our player about the version 2.77 and releasing it, well this week is all about version 2.78.

The browser version is being updated to version 2.78,

On this version we worked on the final plans from last year! Once more we implemented more suggestion from our communities. But there are 2 things that i think are really important for you to know.

  • Now went you change the password of your account it will logout all remote devices.
  • and we dropped support for Internet explorer 8, so it is time to upgrade your version if you were still using IE8

The app is also now available in 2.78,

Today we released also 2.78 for mobile devices, if you haven’t updated, you should be doing that! Check out our new senate screen and let us know what you think of it.

I suggest to change the number of days to become ghost cities, 15 days will be better for the dynamic of the game. Please think about it.

    What does this mean?

“The player has not logged in for *at least* 15 days”.

So, is it possible I don’t log my account more than 15 days?

    Why not standardize all?

See these example: Players have not logged more than 100 days!!!

Most people will ignore the IE8 thing but that is huge really. Means you can add more HTML5 features and stuff. Look forward to seeing what you guys have in store and will be watching dev more closely.

Love all the updates lately, please keep them coming. 🙂

Yes, you are very correct. Taking advantages of the HMTL5 allows us to bring Grepolis to a whole new level.

not sure this is going to the right place but here it goes anyway!
i think you should change what happens at ww time that would help to make this more fun !
you should give each alliance say 48-72 hrs to lock in whos in there alliance and the only way you can add someone to it is if that person leaves the game, then to help keep the purpose of the game going (attacking) when attacking another alliance that is doing ww and if you take a city from them you get a building speed boost or something that sends extra resources for the ww. and in doing this you will keep the interest in the game, as of now a lot of players just zone out or leave the game or world.
this would not eliminate anoher alliance sending resources for the ww but it would stop this insane jumping back and forth from alliance to alliance

This is the bull’s eye of our internal discussions. For a very long time, we have been discussing and testing out the future of the World Wonders. I hope to very soon be able to give out more information about this.
