This time we have a fairly short update for you as we still can’t disclose much about our upcoming surprises. Still we want to update you on all things Grepolis in calendar weeks 21 and 22.
Finishing the rollout of all island quest changes & working on performance
In the last two updates, we finally finalized the rollout of our big island quest rebalancing. We hope you like the changes and are looking forward to your feedback, on the forums, on the DevBlog or any other official channel.
Additionally we’re looking forward to ironing out the last remaining bugs with our reworked command overview that is currently being tested to bring our performance improvements in situations with high volumes of movements to all players.
v2.139
On Tuesday and Wednesday this week we updated to browser version 2.139.
This new version brought a visual overhaul of the island quest interface, finally including the quests in the regular quest log. With this change you may now also see exactly when the next island quest is set to appear for your account.
Furthermore we implemented the new hero Daidalos. Similar to Aristotle, he will boost the construction of ships. If he is assigned to a town, the costs and construction times for Biremes are reduced. Daidalos is an exclusive hero and will become available as a reward for the next in-game event.
Next version preview
This week we are concluding the work on version 2.140. After several public holidays in Germany, this update is a rather small one with mostly technical changes and bug fixes.
Additionally we invested quite some time for our big surprise for InnoGames’ 10th anniversary celebrations. The surprise itself still remains a mystery for the time being, but we highly recommend you to stay tuned! 😉

Tuesday, June 12th: NL, SE and SK market
Wednesday, June 13th: international roll-out

Hello Devs, i have an issue to raise with this new upcoming hero.
His starting percentage, percentage per new level and maxed out percentage for cost/construction time reduction seems a bit off in comparison to Aristotle who’s maxed out percentage is 60% off, making this new hero almost 3 times less effective/worse than Aristotle.
Considering the fact that he is exclusive upcoming hero, he should be a bit more “buffed” if i do say so.

Daidalos is like that on purpose. Since defending in the game is already way easier, we believe that having him as powerful as Aristotle may be a bit overpowered. But having him as he is now, brings a nice advantage for defenders but still manageable for attackers.
Hi Aris from Greece, i hope you are in a good mood cause we’re actually have been waiting for the new events to come so make it really good :p. The last few days i’ve been having an issue with site, as it gets marked as a NOT SECURE PAGE. I play in chrome and after a small research through articles and papers i found this one and i think you should take a look at it, cause it may cause problems to other players and also in Inno. This is the message that at get after a while as i have the game open https://prnt.sc/ffleom. Give it a look. It may be a problem of mine, but from the basics that i know from programming, i think that it’s a “small” security issue.

Do you use the scripts from DiosTools? Than it is unfortunately a problem from this script.
Since you decided to add Daidalos why not and in the near future to add Ikaros? His son..it could reduse the cost for all the mythical creatures.

That is a good idea. We do have a list of cool future heroes I will add Ikaros to it. Not sure about the effect thou, I think we have another hero planned with that effect.
I have a question about the Improved attack – is it needed to be activated before an attack is sent or it has to be just active right in the moment of attack’s arrival???

The Improved attack power only needs to be active when the attack arrives at the objective.

I understand you need your income..but it must always be this wheel of fortune..is getting bored here..every time you bring out the wheel of fortune..you can not think of anything else, the wheel of fortune already has such a beard here..when is there something new here..a new unknown event would not be bad..am this event repeats slowly, really sorry here.. 🙁

I would like to suggest an increase in inventory space! In the normal inventory each item gets a box for example 2 items of the same type receive 2 boxes and in the extended inventory items of the same kind overlap! Why not the same thing in the normal inventory?

The inventory works in a way as to incentive players to use the powers. We are not thinking of a change on the inventory system just now.
