Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our bi-weekly community update. Let’s dive right in and get to the most recent topics.
Upcoming holidays
It’s December already and both Christmas and New Year’s are just around the corner.
As every year, we will slow down a bit during the holidays and give you and of course also our developers some time to celebrate and relax with their families. Starting mid December, we will pause our regular update schedule and slowly return to full speed in January.
For most language versions, there will be Peace Times for the holidays, sharing the Christmas spirit and giving you time to celebrate the new year. More details on the timing of the peace time(s) for every region will follow in the upcoming weeks, of course in time to take all necessary preparations.
We wish you all a wonderful Christmas time and wish you the best of luck while hunting presents for your loved ones!
v2.152
Version 2.152 was released this week, for both browser and mobile players.
This version brought an interface change for the spell selection, moving it to the side without interfering with other displays, changes to the effect of attackable bans on world wonder islands and different handling of e-mail validation links. Furthermore, some balancing changes for Tyche’s Advent Calendar have been introduced.
The mobile update additionally contained the app version 2.151, which was not released prior to the release of 2.152.
Next version preview
The development work for the sprint to version 2.153 – our last content update this year – was finished this week.
The main change you will notice in this version is a rework of the Bandit Camp screen, providing more information about how battles in Grepolis work.
When facing the first stages of the Bandit Camp, you can now hover over the defending units and see the best unit option highlighted within the available units. Additionally, it will also be possible to hover own units to highlight the respective defensive value of the defending units. From level 10 onward, travel times are also displayed below the unit selection. Furthermore, a battle point preview is being added to the loot preview.
In addition to these changes, we also already prepared for one of our next events. Things will get frosty. Curious? Stay with us in 2018 and you will find out! 🙂
The current update schedule for v2.153 is as follows:
Tuesday, December 12th: NL, SE and SK market
Wednesday, December 13th: international roll-out
You can already experience some of the new features on our beta servers. Keep following our daily changelogs for all the details on what is already available.

Have a nice weekend!
A new world in beta server is comming?
How about a new world with speed 6 six?!?!?! VERY GOOD!
Hey Felipe,
We’re glad you’re looking forward to this new world. It will be a relatively fast one, but we feel that speed 6 is too demanding for players who may commit to both their regular world and this new beta world. Hence we chose a Speed 4 with slow unit speed.
Nonetheless, we would be glad to be playing with you on Sandbox 8 as this new world also comes with 5 cities to start with, instead of just one. 🙂
See you there!
I have a question for developers that made this new hero..
Take a closer look at Hector then at this new Hero and read what both of them do, also, who would attack with swords, its needless to say you guys wasted a good hero for a stupid role that already exists, what you should have done is restructure what current heroes do in order to fit this new guy and his abilities into the mix, big fail on the developers that think in advance but fail to fix current issues.
Telemachos is specialized in swordsmen, he can achieve a value of improvement that no other hero in the game can, Just like Medea for slingers. This type of hero also opens up options for more defensive players that want to have more than one city with defensive heroes. I appreciate your feedback, but we believe that there are uses for this type of hero in the game.
