Community update: Week 22

This week we continued to gather the negative feedback of the battle packages, we are aware that this feature is not liked by many and your feedback is valued! We would also like to remind that it is something being tested and that does not mean that will go live on the other versions.

The browser version

The Commander of Rome is live on our beta community and valuable feedback from our early birds! The team continued their work  on a new and improved system for the farm villages. And as usual some bugs were killed

The app version

This week we have skipped a version, since we need to submit our apps for approval, sometimes the team can actually work faster on the next version this time this happened so we just jumped to version 2.88 of the app.

Well, you tested already a lot, and you recieved a lot of nagative feedback about goldtrading and other stuff, still it went live on normal servers. We don`t buy your crap.

    Closing world conditions:

“The number which we decided on was a minimum of 300 active players. An active player in this case is a player who logs into his/her world-account at least once a month”.

    Suggestion:
An active player in this case is a player who logs into his/her world-account at least once every TEN DAYS.

Change the Gameruler 8# Account Deletion:
    “Examples:
30 days of inactivity (being on vacation mode is not considered as inactivity)”.

    Suggestion:
10 days of inactivity (being on vacation mode is not considered as inactivity)”.

    Justification:
Most worlds end up between 20 MONTHS and TWO YEARS (or more), because of this, many players give up and stop playing Grepolis.

The current definition of active players does not make sense, because these players are not profitable for the company and they entail to a series of problems for alliances due to inactivity (who logs into them world-account at least once a month). The game become boring.

These changes would really ensure that all worlds would provide an active and entertaining environment, besides to close inactive worlds, and to optimize server performance.

Short-time worlds (maximun 12months) = fewer dropouts = players playing in more worlds long term = more fun and sure profit!

    Please, think about it.

    Please close de World Sandbox1.
Please create a World Sandbox4 with 5x velocity!
    More fun for all players!
